DONS Donge Dongestraat

DONS Donge Dongestraat is our after-school care (BSO) location on the grounds of Openbare Basisschool de Donge in Amsterdam-Zuid. We are located at Dintelstraat 5-7, right next to the school, so children can join us safely and quickly after school ends. Our rooms are designed around the world of primary-school children: there is space for rest and homework, but also for play and creative activities. A fixed team of qualified pedagogical staff knows every child and challenges them to discover new things. We are open on weekday afternoons from the moment school ends until 18:30. On Wednesdays we start at 12:30 and on study days and during school holidays we are open from 8:00 to 18:30. This gives parents flexibility while children stay in their familiar environment. We use the new DONS Parent App, which allows parents to easily request extra days, swap days or communicate with us directly. DONS Donge Dongestraat has room for a maximum of 55 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register under number 203930502 since 9 January 2023. We work closely with the teachers of De Donge so we can connect to what the child has experienced that day and where extra attention may be needed. Together we create a warm, safe and challenging place where children feel at home.
