Partou BSO Wethouder Zandbergenlaan 20 is a small-scale after-school care centre located in the Bloemendal district of Barneveld. We are situated on the ground floor of primary school De Vliegeniers, allowing children to step straight into a familiar environment after school. The centre has space for a maximum of fourteen children, ensuring personal attention and a homely atmosphere. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every weekday to give children aged 4 to 12 a pleasant and safe afternoon. The afternoon starts with a moment of calm and a healthy snack, after which the children can choose from various activities such as crafts, games, LEGO building or outdoor play in the schoolyard. We use the school’s spacious gym for physical activities and, when the weather is nice, we head to the nearby park. During school holidays we are open all day and organise fun outings—for example a visit to the Kootwijkerzand dunes, an afternoon at Boerderijpret activity farm or a scavenger hunt through Barneveld. Even then our care remains small and manageable so that every child feels seen and heard. We work closely with parents and De Vliegeniers primary school to ensure a smooth transition between school and after-school care.
