Dirk & Ko BSO is part of the Dirk & Ko Child Centre located at Laan van Mecklenburg 30 in Breda. Together with Nutsbasisschool Dirk van Veen and the day-care centre, we form one integrated child centre that offers a continuous development path for children aged 4 to 12. Our before- and after-school care is designed to give children rest, space and challenge. We open early: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7.30 a.m. After school we are ready from 2.45 p.m. until 6.30 p.m. On Wednesdays the BSO is closed so our team can train and prepare the location for the rest of the week. We work with themes that match the children’s world of experience—think nature and technology projects, creative workshops and sporty challenges. We regularly organise excursions to places in the neighbourhood or host special activities such as a sports clinic or a cooking workshop. All food and drinks, including fruit and healthy snacks, are included in the hourly rate. Extra activities and theme weeks are also covered, so your child will never miss out. Our pedagogical staff are experienced professionals who understand how important it is to give children space to be themselves. We provide a safe and familiar environment where they can relax after a busy school day and also discover new things.
