Dikkertje Dap Charlois

Welcome to Dikkertje Dap Charlois, our small-scale childcare location at Sliedrechtstraat 62-66 in Rotterdam. As part of the Van Veldhuizen Foundation, we have been providing specialized Childcare Plus for children aged 1 to 4 years for 60 years. Our Charlois location is special: we work with one close-knit group of maximum 10 children. This small-scale setup allows us to provide intensive, personal attention to each child and family. We specifically focus on families where the carrying capacity and carrying load are often out of balance, which means we provide extra support where needed. We offer preschool education (VE), using our own developed programs such as 'Plus in the Square' and 'Together for Language'. Our spaces are calmly arranged to give children the opportunity to feel safe and secure. Our highly educated pedagogical staff is ready to optimally guide each child's development together with parents and, if necessary, with assistance.
