Dennen

Day-care centre Dennen is located in a characteristic villa at Vaartweg 191, right opposite the Corversbos nature reserve in Hilversum. Children from 0 to 4 years discover a warm, homely atmosphere where they quickly feel at ease. We organise three horizontal groups: a baby group (0-1 yr), a toddler group (1-2 yr) and a pre-school group (2-4 yr). Each group has its own familiar staff and an environment tailored to the children’s developmental stage. Our large green garden borders the Corversbos; here the children play, explore and learn every day. We often take walks into the woods and offer outdoor naps. Nature is our extended classroom: branches, leaves, sand and water provide endless play and natural learning opportunities. Indoors we follow the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Startblokken’. Through play we stimulate language and early maths, creativity and social skills. We sing, dance, craft and read aloud daily. Our professional staff carefully observe and record each child’s development so that we can adapt activities to individual needs. Care and nutrition are in trusted hands. We supply nappies, wipes and care products. Children enjoy an organic hot lunch, fresh fruit and healthy snacks. We are happy to accommodate allergies or special dietary requirements. Parents stay in touch through the secure Bink Parent App: photos, reports and messages are shared daily. Together we create a second home where children playfully discover who they are and what they can do.
