Den Dijk

Welcome to Den Dijk, the daycare center located in the heart of Odiliapeel. We are part of Kanteel childcare and work together with IKC Den Dijk in one building. At our center, everything revolves around being together: children not only learn from us, but especially from each other. Young learns from old and vice versa, in one vertical group where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and discover together. Our childcare professionals provide a warm, homely environment where every child feels safe and valued. We work with a preschool education (VE) program that connects with the world of experience of young children. Together with the children, we come up with fun activities such as making delicious fruit ice creams or going outside to play in the mud. These activities not only stimulate sensory development, but also teach children to work together and learn from each other. Our location has its own garden where children can play safely and discover nature. We believe it's important that children spend lots of time outdoors and experience the seasons. We make the transition to elementary school small by regularly playing together with the kindergarten children from the school, so children already know the school environment well before they start school themselves. Children aged 0-4 years are welcome at our daycare. We offer flexible childcare options, including half days, so we can accommodate what works best for your family. Our experienced staff personally care for the little ones, from bottle feeding for babies to fun craft activities for toddlers. We work closely with parents to optimally support the well-being and development of each child.
