Deest

Welcome to peutergroep Deest, located at Kloosterhof 30 in the centre of Deest. We are part of Kion and provide pre-school education (VE) for children aged 2 to 4. In our open, warm atmosphere your child is given the space to develop at his or her own pace. We approach every milestone with positive attention and encouragement, offering help, protection and support whenever it is needed. Our pedagogical staff work in a richly arranged group room full of play corners that connect with the world of toddlers. The outdoor play area is directly adjacent to the group room, allowing indoor and outdoor activities to flow seamlessly together. We use this environment to stimulate children playfully in language, motor skills, social interaction and numeracy, preparing them for primary school in a playful way. Peutergroep Deest is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. During school holidays and free days we provide care at our partner school St. Victorschool in Afferden. We work closely with parents and primary school ’t Klosterhûfke, which is located in the same building.
