De Zuidpool

Located right in the heart of Purmer-Zuid at De Driegang 1, BSO De Zuidpool is the after-school place where children aged 4 to 13 have the time of their lives. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Purmerend (SKOP) and provide out-of-school care tailored to every family, 52 weeks a year. No two days are the same. Inside, cupboards brim with games and construction sets, a dedicated arts-and-crafts studio and a cooking classroom await, while our pedagogical staff make sure there is always the perfect mix of relaxation and development. Outside, children can romp on our spacious private playground or, when they are ready, explore the adjacent Park De Driegang. We organise children into age groups so that activities always match their world. The youngest (4–5) enjoy the cosy “Penguin” puppy group, while 5- to 12-year-olds choose between the “Snowflake” studio, the bright “Kingfisher” playroom or the “Eskimo” cooking lab. For 8-plus we have the “Igloo” group and, starting 1 April 2025, our unique World of Xperience programme where kids dive into coding, vlogging and creative tech. We pick up from Montessori Onderwijs Purmerend, Het Baken, De Delta Delfland, De Vlieger, Het Noorderlicht, Het Toermalijn and Dalton Kindcentrum Parelhof. We are also open during study days and holidays; every contract covers 52 weeks. Extra holiday days can simply be added with our Holiday Care package. Parents stay informed through our free ParentApp with photos, messages and the agenda. We look forward to welcoming you and your child aboard De Zuidpool!
