At childcare centre Zijlwatering in Wassenaar, children aged 0 to 4 grow up full of adventure. We provide daycare for children from 10 weeks to 4 years old in a completely renovated location with a very special outdoor space. Our daycare centre has two baby-toddler groups (10 weeks to 2 years), a baby-toddler-preschooler group (10 weeks to 4 years) and a preschooler group (2 to 4 years). The adventure begins in the baby group, where children learn to get used to a different caregiver than you and to new friends. Our staff closely follow your child's development and are trained in guiding babies. We do our utmost to ensure secure attachment. As your child grows bigger, they want to explore more of the space around them. We give children plenty of opportunity to go on adventures, for example in our large nature garden - the discovery garden. Here they can bake cakes and play in the sandbox. Our preschool team provides challenging materials with which they can learn through play. With Toddler Gym, your child stays active. For toddlers from 2 years old, we have a special group with preschool education, where we focus extra on language development. Every five weeks, a different theme takes centre stage. For toddlers and preschoolers, a variety of educational activities are offered every week. Our central play hall with climbing net and the 'green' outdoor playground offer children plenty of space to play and discover. We believe that outdoor play is a guiding principle in children's development. Our warm, reliable and pleasant childcare ensures that both child and parent feel at home.
