De Zeepaardjes

Welcome to De Zeepaardjes, our intimate daycare centre located at Noordzoom 119 in Marknesse. We are part of the Stichting Kinderopvang Noordoostpolder and provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. In our vertical group, children of different ages learn to play together and grow from each other. At De Zeepaardjes, we work with a fixed daily structure that provides peace and regularity. We start the day with free play, followed by a circle activity where we read aloud, sing and make music. The children enjoy fresh fruit and drinks. Afterwards, we work in small groups on activities that match their developmental level. In between, there is time for diaper changes and free play in the corners. Our pedagogical staff offer toddler gym every week, where children develop their motor skills through play. We do crafts, use sensory materials and regularly go outside to play in our garden. Fresh air and nature are important elements in our daily activities. During lunch, the children eat bread together, after which the youngest children sleep in our quiet sleeping areas. The older children can play quietly or look at a book. In the afternoon, there is another circle activity with reading aloud, singing and music. We end the day with outdoor play and free play until parents pick up their children. Our team consists of qualified pedagogical staff who provide a safe and stimulating environment every day. We are open to all children and find it important that every child feels welcome. Involvement and personal attention are highly valued by us.
