De Zee

Welcome to BSO De Zee, part of childcare organisation De Kikkerkoning. We are located in the communal hall of Brede School De Zon at Forum 8 in Elst. From this central spot we provide before- and after-school care for 180 children aged 4 to 12. Our location makes full use of all the spaces the broad school has to offer. Both younger and older children enjoy our cosy children’s kitchen, where we regularly cook and bake together. Thanks to the direct link with primary schools De Wegwijzer, De Elstar and De Zonnepoort, we can collect the children from their classrooms after school and bring them to class on time in the morning. After school there is plenty of room to play, discover and relax. We organise regular outings in the neighbourhood – think of a trip with the pull-cart to the village or a visit to the playground. In addition, De Kikkerkoning runs workshops within Brede School De Zon, such as sports and music activities, which are often free thanks to a subsidy from the municipality of Overbetuwe. For parents who have to start work early, we offer before-school care: from 7.30 a.m. our pedagogical staff are ready to give the children a calm start to the day. Care can only be taken on a regular basis, so that we create a familiar group in which every child feels safe and seen. BSO De Zee stands for a warm, family atmosphere in which children can be who they are. We work with experienced, enthusiastic staff who give their heart and soul for the children every day.
