PSG De Woordhof

PSG De Woordhof is located at Keppelseweg 54 in Hummelo and is part of Stichting Spelenderwijs IJsselgraaf. We provide small-scale childcare for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years in a homely environment. Through our collaboration with primary school De Woordhof, we create a continuous development and learning line starting from age 2. We work with the same themes, utilize the expertise of teachers, and occasionally let the toddlers explore the school. This way, they become familiar with the school environment and the transition will be smooth. Our pedagogical staff align their approach with the four developmental domains: social-emotional skills, motor skills, language and numeracy. We offer pre-school education (VVE) and are officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 309177108. Our location is housed in a cozy and spacious school building that we share with the primary school. This physical proximity strengthens the collaboration and makes it possible to organize activities that facilitate the transition from toddler care to primary education. We work according to a horizontal group structure, where children of similar age play and learn together. This promotes the development of age-specific skills and creates a safe environment in which each child can develop at their own pace. At PSG De Woordhof, we believe it's important that children enjoy coming to childcare. We offer a familiar environment where learning together, developing and having fun are central. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding toddlers and work closely with parents to optimally support each child's development. We regularly organize outings and excursions that connect with our themes and stimulate the children's curiosity.
