Welcome to De Wijde Wereld, a small-scale daycare centre located at Poolse Dreef 4 in Terheijden. We provide a warm, safe and homely environment where children aged 0 to 4 can grow and develop at their own pace. Our core values are peace, warmth and security. Our experienced childcare professionals work with small groups: a maximum of 6 babies and 12 toddlers. This allows us to give every child the personal attention they deserve. We use horizontal grouping with fixed baby and toddler groups, ensuring that activities and guidance are perfectly tailored to your child’s age and developmental stage. At De Wijde Wereld we believe in learning through play. Our spacious garden and bright rooms offer plenty of opportunities to explore, move and grow. We sing songs, read books from our library and do arts and crafts with natural materials. For our toddler groups we offer a preschool education (VVE) programme that stimulates language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. Every day we serve a warm, organic meal and healthy snacks. Bottle feeding, fruit and drinks are included. For the youngest ones we have separate sleeping rooms with cribs and beds, so your child can sleep peacefully whenever needed. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, all year round (except public holidays). Feel free to visit us for a tour and experience the warm atmosphere of De Wijde Wereld yourself.
