De Wieken

BSO De Wieken is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Wieken located at Floraweg 69 in Nijmegen. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a familiar, green environment. Our IKC is housed in the same building as Daltonschool De Wieken, allowing children to walk directly to a trusted place after school to unwind from their school day. At BSO De Wieken, play and discovery are central. Children can play outside on our safe, enclosed playground or make use of the adjacent Florapark and the Kobus animal corner. We regularly organise outings to the petting zoo and offer a varied activity programme. During school holidays, we provide a stimulating and diverse holiday programme so that every child experiences a real holiday feeling. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and challenging environment where children can develop freely. We work closely with the school and other partners within the IKC, such as the library and Sportservice, to increase children's development opportunities. Parents can come to us for both after-school care and holiday care, with flexible care options available. BSO De Wieken is housed in a bright and spacious building with soft colours and natural materials. Almost everything is at child height, encouraging children to explore on their own. We provide care for up to 60 children and are open after school on school days and during all school holidays.
