De Wereldwijzer

Welcome to BSO De Wereldwijzer at Erasmusplein 2 in Vlaardingen. We are part of Wijzer, a public foundation for childcare and education in Vlaardingen and Maassluis. Our after-school care provides children aged 4 to 12 with a safe and enjoyable place to play, relax and learn new things after school. We work from one shared vision: "We make each other World-wise!" This means we challenge children to develop themselves and discover the world around them. Our childcare professionals ensure a continuous learning line from primary education and offer a rich and stimulating environment. We pay great attention to the independence and self-reliance of each child. The care takes place in the school building of IKC De Wereldwijzer. Children can join directly after school and stay until 6:30 PM. During school holidays and study days, care is provided at our own location or at the central holiday care De Groene Draad, where we organize a challenging activity program. We inform parents monthly in an accessible way through the Wereldwijzer journal and actively involve them in our education and care. Our team consists of knowledgeable and motivated childcare professionals who really want to make a difference for the children. We work together on a Peaceful School and ensure that every child feels safe and at home with us. We would love to welcome you for an introductory meeting and tour of our location.
