Welcome to De Wereld at Pallas Atheneplein 2 in Arnhem-Schuytgraaf. Our daycare centre is part of the multifunctional De Omnibus complex, which means we work closely with three primary schools and the district team located in the same building. The child health clinic is right next door, creating one large support network around your child. Everything we do revolves around discovering, playing and developing in a world full of colour, light and space. We provide day care for children from 0 to 4 years old. The youngest children start in a horizontal toddler group (1-2.5 years) with three permanent pedagogical staff who provide security, personal attention and warmth. Through play we stimulate language, motor skills and social skills with recognised VVE methods that perfectly match your child’s stage of development. Each staff member is also a mentor for a number of children; they closely monitor well-being, involvement and development and coordinate with parents, school and any follow-up care. Our outdoor space is a true paradise: two artificial-grass pitches for a safe game of football, a round sandpit with soft ‘pouffes’, a spacious cycle path and play hills that make running extra exciting. Thanks to the difference in height, children practise their balance and motor skills while playing. Indoors there is plenty of room to build, paint, play in the home corner or simply crawl and explore. Don’t wear your best clothes, because we go on adventures together and turn it into a cheerful, creative mess. We are open all year round from Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. We are closed on national holidays; on St Nicholas, Christmas and New Year’s Eve we close at 5 pm.
