De Wensboom

Welcome to Kindcentrum De Wensboom, located at Stockholm 5 in Schiedam-Noord. We are part of KomKids Childcare and exclusively provide daycare (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4 years at this location. We work with three types of groups that align with your child's development. Our baby group is designed for the youngest children aged 0-2 years. Here, rest, routine and development are central. There is a maximum of 11 children per day with three pedagogical professionals. When your child is almost 2 years old, we will discuss together whether a transition to our vertical group or toddler group is appropriate. In our vertical groups (0-4 years), children can develop into real preschoolers. There is a maximum of 12 children with two pedagogical professionals. These groups offer a rich learning environment where children of different ages play and learn together. For children aged 2-4 years, we have a special toddler group. Here, further development is central as we prepare children for the transition to primary school. We focus on cooperation, playing together and independence. There is a maximum of 16 children with two pedagogical professionals. We also provide shortened childcare (VKV) for children aged 2.5-4 years. In this group, we work with the Startblokken Basic Development methodology. Children with an indication come 4 times per week for 4 hours, children without an indication come per session for 5.5 hours with a minimum of two mornings. Our location features an enclosed nature garden where the youngest children can play outside and discover the world. We believe it's important that children grow up in a safe and challenging environment, where having fun and discovering new things are central.
