De Wegwijzer

Welcome to De Wegwijzer, our daycare centre located at Molenstraat 1 in the heart of Winssen. We provide children aged 0 to 4 with a safe, positive and future-oriented environment where they can play, discover and grow. Our child centre works closely with the primary school and toddler care on the same premises, ensuring children experience a seamless developmental journey. We focus on the unique child. We work with age groups so that every stage of development receives optimal attention. For the youngest ones, there are quiet baby rooms with cribs, changing tables and comfortable feeding corners. Toddlers and preschoolers have their own vertical groups where they learn to cooperate and become independent through play. We assign fixed pedagogical staff who know each child well and are the familiar face at drop-off. Our pedagogical policy aims to give children space to be themselves while also considering others. We offer structured activities such as music and movement sessions, creative corners with paint and craft materials, and a large reading corner with picture books. There is also plenty of opportunity for free play development in our spacious garden with natural play equipment and sandboxes. We work thematically, connecting with the children's world of experience. Excursions to the petting zoo or local supermarket complete the experience. Parents are not outsiders at our centre. We believe open communication is essential and regularly organise parent meetings, participation mornings and joint activities. Our staff are professionally trained and regularly attend refresher courses to keep our care and development at the highest level. Together with you, we give your child the best start!
