De Vuurvogel

Welcome to After-School Care De Vuurvogel, located in the beautiful, sustainable building of primary school De Vuurvogel at Schoolstraat 23A in Malden. Under the authority of Conexus, we provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a familiar environment where they can play, discover and relax together with their classmates. When the children come out of school, we first enjoy a drink and a snack together. Afterwards, they choose what they want to do. We have access to all the school's facilities: a rich natural outdoor space for lots of outdoor play, creative corners for arts and crafts, a quiet reading area with books and plenty of sports equipment for active play. If the weather is bad, everything is available indoors to stay active. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the teachers of De Vuurvogel. This allows us to provide extra support when a child needs it and ensures that our activities seamlessly connect to what the children have experienced during the day. We use a horizontal group structure, where children of different ages play together and learn from each other. During school holidays, the after-school care is open every weekday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We then organize our super fun after-school holiday tour with varied outings and themed days. Parents can easily register their child via our website and receive all practical information through the Social Schools app. In short, After-School Care De Vuurvogel is a safe, familiar place where children can be themselves after school, play together and discover new things.
