De Vuurvliegjes

Peuteropvang De Vuurvliegjes is located on the ground floor of primary school De Vuurvogel at Arthur van Schendellaan 53 in Uithoorn. We provide care for children aged 2½ to 4 years in two toddler groups, each with 14 places. Our location works closely with the primary school and is open 52 weeks per year. At De Vuurvliegjes, preschool education (VE) is central. Children who need additional language support follow the Uk & Puk program. Together with the primary schools, we use the LOGO3000 tool to playfully expand children's vocabulary using beautifully designed wall and conversation cards. We work with a horizontal group structure where children come together in age groups. The transition from our toddler group to primary school runs seamlessly through the digital child tracking system Konnect. The themes we cover are coordinated with the school, creating recognition and a continuous developmental line for each child. Parents can visit us for toddler care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
