De Vlindertuin

Welcome to Stichting Kinderopvang de Vlindertuin, located at Ketelboetershoek 19 in Apeldoorn. We are a small-scale childcare centre with the motto “Great by staying small”. By keeping our daycare small we can specialise and provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Personal contact is very important to us. Communication with management and the groups is easy, quick and personal. Even though we are a company, we try to make this as unnoticeable as possible when you bring and collect your children. A maximum of 24 children are present each day, creating a cosy atmosphere. The children are cared for by a small, permanent team of staff so that every face is familiar and trusted by each child. Our centre is situated in a rural and peaceful area where outdoor play is a key part of the day. Every day the children go outside; in the rain wearing ponchos and wellies, in winter with gloves and scarves, and in summer in a T-shirt and shorts to enjoy water play. Babies also spend time outside at least once a day, sleeping in our special outdoor cribs. Sleeping outdoors helps children sleep longer and more deeply, so they wake better rested and with more energy. We offer a variety of activities such as colouring, painting, crafts, singing songs, reading aloud, games, free play, outdoor play, baking cookies and yoga every other week for children from about 2 years old. In addition, children can get to know the animals on our grounds. We believe it is important that everyone feels at home with us, and we provide customised care through clear communication with parents so that we can create a personal plan for each child.
