Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Vlinder, a small-scale and nurturing daycare centre located at Bloesemtuin 17a in Houten. We provide care for a maximum of 7 children per day, allowing us to offer personal attention and a homely atmosphere. Our daycare is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 47 weeks per year. At De Vlinder, we believe every child is unique and deserves a safe, loving environment to grow. Our qualified staff closely follow each child’s development and provide tailored guidance. Our approach centres on calmness, rhythm, sensory development and nature. We create a secure atmosphere so children feel free to explore, play and learn from one another. Our daily routine is calm and predictable. The day begins with free play, followed by group activities such as singing or reading aloud. After a healthy lunch, children enjoy outdoor play in our safe, child-friendly garden. Babies have their own quiet sleeping room with professional cots. We change nappies, provide bottle feeding and maintain familiar sleep routines. Fruit, drinks, snacks, nappies and wipes are all included. We regularly organise creative workshops, seasonal theme weeks and small excursions. Language and speech development are encouraged through songs, books and interactive games. We also focus on cooperation, respect and discovering the world around them.
