Welcome to PSG De Vissen and PSG De Orka’s, our daycare centre located in Kindcentrum Feiko Clock at Sportlaan 10 in Oude Pekela. We are officially registered as a daycare centre and provide care for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our centre consists of two group rooms, De Vissen and De Orka’s, situated next to each other and forming one close-knit team. We follow the ‘Peuteropvang’ (toddler care) concept, focusing on the development of children aged two to four. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe, familiar environment in which every child is given space to grow at their own pace. We use horizontal groups, so children play with peers and we can respond specifically to their developmental stage. Within the Kindcentrum we work closely with the primary school and other partners. This offers our children a smooth transition to primary education. We provide pre-school education (VVE), stimulating language, numeracy and social skills through play. Our spacious group rooms are attractively furnished with different play corners that invite exploration, play and learning. The direct connection to the playroom and the secure outdoor area gives children plenty of room to move. Parents can choose half or full day care. We believe it is important that parents and children feel at home quickly. Therefore our doors are open for an introduction and we are happy to answer all your questions. Together we ensure a warm start to your child’s development.
