De Verrekijker

Welcome to Kindercentrum De Verrekijker, a homely daycare centre in the Kerk en Zanen district of Alphen aan den Rijn. We are part of Junis Kinderopvang and provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, safe environment where every child can develop at his or her own pace. Our spacious outdoor area is divided by age group. Babies have a separate, sheltered play space to explore quietly, while toddlers build huts in the playhouses or whizz down the slide. For toddlers and pre-schoolers we regularly organise toddler dance and movement songs. We also take trips to the park or playground to explore nature and discover new stimuli. Inside we have a large, bright hall with a slide, a cosy kitchen corner and various play and craft corners. Here we bake healthy biscuits together, sing songs or create the most beautiful works of art. Each group has its own atmosphere and programme tailored to the children’s development. We work with permanent pedagogical staff who know and understand your child. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding according to the home routine and there is always a quiet bedroom available. You can also come to us for toddler sessions: you can choose morning or afternoon care from 08:30 to 12:30. This allows you to arrange childcare for your child flexibly. In short, at De Verrekijker children find a second home where they learn and grow through play and, above all, have lots of fun.
