De Veldmuisjes

Peuterleerplek De Veldmuisjes is located at Da Costastraat 40 in the heart of the Zeeheldenkwartier in The Hague. We are part of JongLeren and work closely with Max Velthuijs primary school, which is housed in the same building. This unique collaboration ensures a smooth transition from preschool education to primary education. At De Veldmuisjes, we provide toddler care for children aged 2.5 to 4 years. We use a horizontal group structure with two separate groups: Group A in the mornings and Group B in the afternoons. Each group meets two mornings and two afternoons per week. Our pedagogical staff members Pyrouska, Cora and Monica guide the children with great care and expertise. We work with the 'Speelplezier' program, where we playfully focus on language development, numeracy, independence, music and crafts. Children learn to interact with other children through play and develop at their own pace. We create a safe and challenging environment where toddlers can discover and grow. Our toddler care is designed to optimally prepare children for primary school. By using the same learning-through-play program as Max Velthuijs primary school, we create a seamless connection. We actively involve parents in their child's development and work together towards the best possible start at primary school.
