Atalenta KDV Stapsteen

Welcome to Atalenta KDV Stapsteen, our intimate daycare centre in the heart of Maarheeze. We provide a safe and familiar place for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4, where every child is given space to develop at their own pace. The centre is located at Kijkakkers 1a, on the same grounds as primary school De Stapsteen and toddler care Stapsteen (formerly Ukkeclub), creating a natural continuum from baby to preschooler. Everything we do centres on calm, routine and familiar faces. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who truly know and understand each child. Our approach is designed to give children a warm home base, where play and development go hand in hand. We offer early childhood education (VVE), working on language development, social skills and independence through play. Creative activities such as drawing, crafts and singing are part of this, always tailored to the child’s age and interests. Our spacious outdoor playground invites exploration and movement. We go outside every day so that children can romp, build sandcastles or simply enjoy the fresh air. Indoors everything is arranged for safety and comfort: colourful play corners, cosy beds for naps and a pleasant dining area where we eat together. Because we work on a small scale we can offer true customised care. We adapt our care and activities to whatever your child needs.
