De Uitdaging

Welcome to daycare De Uitdaging, part of KION childcare, located in the modern Kindcentrum De Uitdaging at Dick Brunastraat 3 in Nijmegen-Noord. We provide care for children from 3 months to 4 years in a homely and safe environment where your child has all the space to discover, experience and develop at their own pace. Our dedicated pedagogical staff are inspired by the vision of educator Emmi Pikler. We work in small groups with play materials tailored to the children's age and stimulating their creativity. The groups are furnished with natural materials and light colors, creating a calm and secure atmosphere. We also have several small tables so children can play and eat together in small groups with a pedagogical staff member. Our adventurous nature garden also offers the youngest children their own safe place to play outside. Here children can explore and discover the world around them step by step. We believe it is important that children feel at home with us and pay a lot of attention to a warm handover and a familiar daily routine. Daycare De Uitdaging is part of Kindcentrum De Uitdaging, which means we collaborate with primary education and after-school care under one roof. This provides a continuous line of care and development from baby to 12 years. We work according to the VVE program (Early Childhood Education) to optimally support the development of young children.
