Ska Kindcentrum de Tovertriangel

Welcome to Ska Kindcentrum de Tovertriangel, located at Albert Schweitzersingel 175 in the Zielhorst district of Amersfoort. As part of the Amersfoort Childcare Foundation (SKA), we have been providing small-scale childcare for children aged 0 to 4 for more than thirty years. Our centre is designed to give every baby, toddler and preschooler the personal attention they deserve. Our youngest guests enjoy a quiet, sheltered baby corner where they can calmly discover the world: crawling around, being read to and playing with soft materials. Older children have space to play, do crafts and go outside. We set up challenging corners that invite children to express themselves and explore the world around them. In this way they make their first friends at the day-care centre and their world grows a little bigger every day. Outdoor play takes place in our own discovery garden, directly adjacent to the building. We jump into the sandpit, create mud masterpieces or enjoy a healthy snack on a picnic blanket. This outdoor area is fully tailored to the needs of young children and encourages natural play and movement. Our pedagogical vision – the heart of our work for more than thirty years – helps children prepare for a world that seems to be moving ever faster. We teach them new skills and offer structure and warmth, so that they can grow up with confidence.
