De Theresiaschool

BSO Theresia is located on the ground floor of the modern school building at Gregoriuslaan 4 in Bilthoven. We work in close partnership with Kind & Co Ludens and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend Theresiaschool or another primary school in the area. Our youngest children have their own cosy group rooms on the ground floor. The rooms are bright and homely so that children feel at home straight away. From the group we walk straight onto our pleasant, enclosed playground. Here children can romp around in the fresh air, play together in the sandpit or retreat to a quiet corner with a book or game. We follow the five-equal-days model: every school day is the same and there is no free afternoon. After-school care starts immediately after school and takes place both inside and outside the school building. We remain open during study days and school holidays so that parents can continue working and children keep a familiar place. Our team consists of experienced childcare professionals who understand how important rest, routine and challenge are after an intensive school day. We offer a varied programme with room for children’s own initiative and relaxation. Together with the children we use the gym, the playroom and the creative corners in the building. We celebrate holidays, organise theme weeks and regularly go on outings in the immediate area. Parents experience our care as involved, flexible and close by.
