For over 25 years, De Teddybeer in Krommenie has been providing trusted and flexible childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our small-scale approach with two vertical groups ensures a homely atmosphere where every child receives the personal attention they deserve. What makes us unique is our special location: we are housed in a residential care center for the elderly. This intergenerational collaboration creates a warm community where children and elderly meet. The residents enjoy watching the playing children in our spacious garden, while the children receive extra attention and love from our elderly friends. It's heartwarming to see how these encounters touch both the children and the elderly. Our spaces are carefully designed so that everything is within reach for the children. The baby and toddler groups are adjacent to each other, contributing to our cozy and homely atmosphere. In our large indoor play area, children can engage in joint activities, while our spacious garden with green fencing is divided into two sections: one for the baby groups and one for the toddler groups. Here children can climb, run and play to their heart's content in the fresh outdoor air. We offer flexible contracts, including special school contracts for parents working in education. We regularly organize trips to children's farm De Blijde Wei, where children get acquainted with animals and nature.
