De Stuiterbal

Peuteropvang De Stuiterbal is a vibrant toddler care center in the heart of Joure, located at E.A. Borgerstraat 25a. We are part of SKIK Kinderopvang, a Frisian organization that has been helping children grow with joy for over thirty years. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years, focusing on playful preschool development. Our location features two homely group spaces: Stuiterbal 1 and Stuiterbal 2. These rooms are specially designed for young children's world of experience, with separate construction corners, doll areas, and cozy group tables where we craft, puzzle, and eat together. A unique asset is our large adjacent play hall where toddlers can cycle, scoot, and romp in a movement course specifically designed for motor skill development. When weather permits, we go outside to our secure, enclosed play area with sandbox, climbing equipment, and a willow hut. We operate bilingually (Dutch and Frisian) and offer VVE programs. Our pedagogical team creates a recognizable daily rhythm where attention, growth, and enjoyment are central. We take pride in guiding children at their own pace during this important developmental phase.
