De Stroekeld

BSO De Stroekeld is located at De Stroekeld 139 in Rijssen and is part of the Christian childcare organisation De Kindertuin. We provide before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our site is specially designed for the youngest primary-school children in groups 0 to 4. Children are welcomed into fixed groups with familiar staff, creating a calm, recognisable and secure environment. We use a horizontal group structure: each group consists of children of roughly the same age. There is room for four base groups of 11 children, allowing us to care for a total of 40 children under the guidance of four pedagogical professionals. After school there is plenty of space to relax and play. We offer activities built around a theme, but the emphasis is on free, non-purposeful play. The time is truly for the child to spend as he or she wishes. During school weeks the before-school care (VSO) starts at 7.30 a.m. on weekdays; on request we can receive children from 7.00 a.m. The after-school care (BSO) follows school hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12.00 to 17.15 or 18.00 and Tuesday and Thursday from 14.15 to 17.15 or 18.00. Extended hours are always negotiable. In school holidays we provide full-day holiday care; we are open on many days, as shown in our holiday schedule. Feel free to come and see how we work.
