De Sterrenboom

Welcome to De Sterrenboom, our small-scale daycare center located at Van Beethovenlaan 10b in Voorschoten. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment where every child can be themselves. Our team of dedicated childcare professionals is ready every day to give your child a warm and loving day. Everything we do revolves around discovery and growth. Children have all the space they need to explore, both indoors and outdoors. We regularly go outside: from building mud castles to sliding down the slide and running after friends. Is it drizzling a bit? Then we just put on our boots! There's also plenty to discover indoors. We have a special reading teacher who takes children into the wonderful world of stories and books. Additionally, a yoga instructor visits weekly to introduce children to yoga and relaxation in a playful way. Our groups are organized horizontally, with children grouped by age. This provides peace and familiarity for the children. We work with fixed mentor-staff who closely monitor your child's well-being and development. This allows us to respond to each child's individual needs. For the youngest ones, we have quiet sleeping areas where babies can sleep safely. We support both breast and bottle feeding and follow your home routine as much as possible. For toddlers and preschoolers, we offer a challenging environment with learning materials appropriate to their developmental stage. We believe it's important for children to eat healthy and varied meals. That's why we serve fresh fruit and healthy snacks daily. For children with allergies or special dietary needs, we're happy to make appropriate accommodations. Bread meals are included, as well as drinks throughout the day. De Sterrenboom is a place where your child can grow and play with confidence. We work closely with parents and are open to your wishes and questions.
