Welcome to daycare De Stal, located on a beautiful farm on Botsholsedwarsweg in Waverveen. With us, your child experiences the ultimate outdoor life. Already upon arrival in the parking lot, the children are cheerfully greeted by the farmer’s friendly dogs. The location is part of Kinderopvang Mirakel de Ronde Venen. On the ground floor we provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in two groups. Both groups use vertical grouping: your child stays with the same pedagogical staff for four years. The youngest learn from the older children and the older children learn to help the younger ones. Each child can participate in activities at their own level; a toddler who is ready for a preschooler’s game simply joins in, while a preschooler who needs quieter play can settle down with baby toys. Animals play a special role on our farm. Caring for the rabbit and feeding the animals in the deer enclosure are daily activities. In spring we watch the sheep being shorn and help plant a vegetable garden. In winter we assist the farmer in feeding the cows. These natural experiences stimulate curiosity and involvement. When the weather allows, we offer the unique opportunity to sleep outdoors: a breath of fresh air and a healthy nap in the open air. Our spacious outdoor playground and safe environment give children all the space they need to play, discover and grow. We work around a different theme every 5 to 6 weeks and offer extra activities such as music classes for babies and toddlers and toddler-plus activities. The daycare is open from 7:30 AM to 6:15 PM, with the possibility of extended care from 7:30 AM at an adjusted rate.
