De Stadshoeve

Welcome to BSO De Stadshoeve, located in the atmospheric, monumental hay barn of the biodynamic farm at Zunderdorpergouw 29 in Amsterdam-Noord. We are part of TintelTuin and provide after-school care for up to 51 children aged 4 to 12. Our setting is truly unique: children play and learn on a working farm, surrounded by cows, sheep, chickens and the wide-open landscape of Waterland. The spacious, characterful barn offers a warm and safe place where children can relax, play and explore after school. Outside, they can enjoy the natural play and movement areas around the farm. We offer before-school care (VSO), after-school care (NSO) and holiday care. Children decide for themselves what they feel like doing: playing outside with the animals, doing crafts, reading or joining activities organised by our pedagogical staff. The farm environment sparks their curiosity and offers endless opportunities for nature- and animal-based learning. BSO De Stadshoeve has been registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK number 442744134) since 1 April 2017 and is supervised by the GGD Amsterdam. We follow TintelTuin’s pedagogical vision, which emphasises children’s own initiative, playing together and respect for each other and the environment.
