De Spelende Kinderopvang - KDV Korvelplein

Welcome to De Spelende Kinderopvang – KDV Korvelplein, located at Diepenstraat 97 in the heart of Tilburg-South. Our daycare centre is part of De Spelende Kinderopvang Tilburg, an organisation that has been offering children aged 0 to 12 a safe, trusted place to play, learn and grow for more than ten years. At Korvelplein we focus specifically on the very youngest: babies and toddlers from 0 to 4 years. Our site consists of two baby groups (0-2 years) and two toddler groups (2-4 years). Each baby group accommodates a maximum of 12 children, guided by four qualified pedagogical staff. The toddler groups have a maximum of 16 children with two regular staff members per group. This horizontal layout provides calm, overview and age-appropriate activities. Play is essential to us. Through play, children develop the ability to come up with solutions, process emotions and discover the world around them. We tailor our activities to the wishes and needs of each child. Every day we share a personal daily report through our own parent app, so you as a parent stay involved in your child’s development. The rooms are bright, fresh and inviting. A central play hall and separate playroom offer plenty of space for movement and imagination. The garden is designed as a safe outdoor play area with natural materials. For the very youngest there are separate sleeping rooms with cots; older toddlers can, if desired, sleep outside in the fresh air. Korvelplein is easily accessible and offers free parking for parents and visitors. We follow the national VVE programmes (early childhood education) to stimulate language and cognitive development from an early age. Our pedagogical staff are trained to recognise developmental opportunities and adjust activities accordingly.
