De Spelende Kinderopvang - KDV Binnenstad

Welcome to De Spelende Kinderopvang – KDV Binnenstad, our day-care centre right in the heart of Tilburg, only a short walk from the Central Station. We provide day care for babies and toddlers in a homely, safe setting where enjoyment and development go hand in hand. Our location is organised into one baby group (0-2 years) and two toddler groups (2-4 years). Each group welcomes a maximum of twelve children and is guided by three experienced pedagogical staff members. This small-scale approach guarantees calm, overview and plenty of individual attention. Babies have their own sleeping room with cots and cradles; bottle-feeding and establishing gentle drinking and sleeping routines are part of our daily care. The toddler groups follow fixed daily rhythms in which play, meals, naps and discovery alternate in a familiar tempo. Play is at the heart of everything we do. By playfully experimenting with materials, songs, stories and movement, children explore the world around them. We offer a rich play-and-learning environment that taps into every child’s natural curiosity. Our professionals observe play, seize opportunities and stimulate development in a natural way. In this way children grow into independent, social, creative and critical individuals. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Parents can use flexible hours and we work closely with every family to tailor care and development to each child.
