Welcome to Day-care Centre De Speelmuiter, part of Jokidé childcare in the heart of Espel. We are located in the welcoming MFC ’t Mozaïek at Westerrand 42, where children aged 0 to 4 have been cared for in a homely, vertical group since 2005. The space is cosy and clearly arranged: a high playpen gives the youngest ones a safe spot to roll and play, while toddlers and pre-schoolers crawl into a snug den underneath or play together without getting in each other’s way. A separate social playpen invites children who can already sit to crawl, explore and discover together. Outside we have a spacious, natural playground that we use as much as possible. When the weather is dry you will find us riding our sturdy tractors, watering plants or simply running and climbing around. The garden is right next to the village centre, so stepping out for fresh air or a short walk is easy. We deliberately work in small groups so that every child receives the personal attention they deserve. Our GGD-certified pedagogical staff take the time to really get to know your child: at drop-off and pick-up we chat, share the day’s experiences and listen to what you as a parent find important. We value the warm bond with parents and carers just as much as the bond with the children. Day-care Centre De Speelmuiter welcomes children from birth up to about four years old. We run one vertical group in which babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play together and learn from one another. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 06:30 to 18:30. Parking is available nearby.
