De Speelhoeve

De Speelhoeve is a private daycare center located in a characteristic farmhouse on Ivige Leane in Loënga, on the outskirts of Sneek. We provide care for children from 6 weeks to 4 years old in two groups of up to 12 children each. Our location is surrounded by the tranquility and space of the countryside, creating a low-stimulus environment where your child's needs are the main focus. At De Speelhoeve, we believe in the power of being outdoors. Our large outdoor play area of 400 m² is an adventurous place where children can play with natural materials like grass, hay, sand, and water. Adjacent to the playground is our small petting farm, where children get acquainted with animals such as chickens, doves, goats, sheep, pigs, and waterfowl. In our discovery garden, children learn to grow their own vegetables and fruits, teaching them about nature and sustainability in a playful way. Inside, we have a spacious play area that is fully equipped according to current standards for certified daycare centers. We follow the pedagogical handbook of the United Agrarian Childcare (VAK), focusing on each child's developmental possibilities. With us, children have the space to grow in a safe, stimulating environment that aligns with their natural curiosity and need for movement.
