De Speeldoos

Welcome to De Speeldoos daycare, located at De Knip 1 in the heart of Rhoon, close to Rhoon shopping centre. We are part of Gro-up childcare and offer a safe, trusted place where your child can playfully discover the world from eight weeks up to four years old. Our location uses horizontal groups: two baby/toddler groups and one preschool group. Thanks to this small-scale set-up, everyone knows each other; both children and parents quickly feel at home. The rooms are transparent and brightly decorated, giving your child plenty of freedom to explore and play. After all, play is the way children make sense of their surroundings and practise social skills. Our experienced team of pedagogical staff guide them respectfully, so every child has fun with peers and learns to interact with others. We provide Early Childhood Education (VE), which gives extra stimulation to language, motor and social development. For the youngest we take care of bottle feeding and naps in separate sleeping rooms; for the preschool group we offer age-appropriate activities that match their curiosity and developmental stage. Parents experience our approach as open and involved: we love to share what occupies your child and keep communication short and clear.
