De Skutterties

BSO De Skutterties is located in community centre De Cirkel in Noordscheschut. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our qualified staff pick the children up from De Regenboog Christian Primary School so parents can work without worry. After school, children can play, move and relax. We have spacious indoor areas, a shared outdoor playground, a grass field and a play garden. Every day we balance active games with quiet moments. Activities are tailored to the children’s age and interests – from sports and games to creative projects such as cooking, photography or building their own website. During school holidays we organise themed days, for example ‘on a desert island’: children draw treasure maps, craft parrots and create their own island. We also go on excursions, such as to Kabouterland, where children can play in the play barn, romp in the playground and walk through caves and forests. Before-school care (VSO) is also available: Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. children can play and relax before the school day begins. Drinks and a healthy snack are included at all times; during holiday weeks we also provide lunch and fruit. Our team consists of creative, enthusiastic childcare professionals with valid MBO or HBO degrees and first-aid certificates. Together we create a safe, stimulating place where children can develop at their own pace and in their own way.
