Welcome to daycare centre de Sjoester, located at Schipperstraat 20 in the heart of Etten-Leur. As part of Kober childcare, we have provided reliable, professional care for up to 60 children aged 0–4 since 2010. Our focus is on being outdoors, moving and discovering. Our spacious, adventurous outdoor area invites children to climb, clamber, cycle and slide. They help in the vegetable garden, pick their own cherry tomatoes and regularly visit the nearby petting zoo, expanding their world step by step. Inside you will find attractive group rooms with a construction corner, book corner, dress-up corner, kitchen and home corner. Babies play safely in their own playpen on the group. We also have a large play hall where children can romp with foam blocks or build tall towers. Every six weeks we start a new theme, such as ‘food and drink’. We then transform the home corner into a pizza restaurant and weave the theme into all activities. Together with physiotherapy practice Fysiomore we organise sports and games under the name ‘Sportive heroes’, playfully stimulating both motor skills and social-emotional development. We are part of the broad school De Pijler, together with toddler care, after-school care and primary schools De Leest and De Pontus, ensuring a smooth transition when your child starts school. Parents receive a daily message with a photo via the Parent App and can grab a coffee to go on their way to work in the morning. The hourly rate includes food, drinks, fruit, nappies, excursions and theme weeks. In short, at de Sjoester your child will lack nothing.
