De Schatzoekers

Welcome to NSO De Schatzoekers, our sporty after-school care located in the heart of Leiderdorp. We are uniquely situated in the clubhouse of football club RCL at sports park De Bloemerd. Here we provide care for children aged 4 to 6 who come straight from primary school full of energy. At De Schatzoekers, the focus is entirely on outdoor play, sports and movement. Our children have access to a spacious football field for running and playing. On the forecourt, go-karts, scooters and bicycles are ready for hours of playtime fun. We regularly make trips to the nature playground, skate park and riding school nearby. We also love visiting our colleagues at BSO De Vrijbuiters who are located at the same site. Inside we have a bright, spacious play area set up with different corners. Children can express themselves in the construction corner, relax in the reading corner or race cars in the car corner. For creative children, there is plenty of room for crafts and drawing. Unique to our location is that we have a drum kit and a colleague who can give drum lessons to children interested in this. We work according to the principle of child participation. Our Treasure Hunters get to help decide how their afternoon is filled. They contribute to holiday planning, can choose toys and help arrange the spaces. Each child has their own treasure chest which they can decorate themselves. In this chest we collect each child's talents through talent conversations. This way we really get to know each child and can respond specifically to their interests and development. For children who are members of a sports club nearby, we offer flexible options. In consultation with our pedagogical staff, they can go to their sports training during after-school care from a certain age. This way we combine care with your child's sporting development. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. On Wednesday and Friday we are open from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Feel free to come by and discover our sporty location!
