De Schatkamer

Welcome to De Schatkamer, our after-school care location at Van Nesstraat 2 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We are part of the General Christian Foundation Shezaf and provide out-of-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our modern, child-friendly space houses two groups with a total of 44 places. Relaxation in a familiar and cosy environment is our priority. Our enthusiastic pedagogical staff guide the children through a wide range of activities: sports and games, crafts, nature and music activities, drama, and regular outings. Children choose for themselves whether to join; nothing is mandatory, almost everything is allowed. We pick up children from nearby schools on foot or with our cargo bikes and taxis. During holidays and study days we are open all day from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; during school weeks we offer both morning and afternoon care. Parents stay in touch with our team through parent meetings, newsletters, and the parent app Konnect. Our goal: your child returns home with a free feeling after an afternoon full of encounters, play and discovery at De Schatkamer.
