De Schatkamer

Welcome to daycare De Schatkamer, located in the characteristic Don Bosco church at Mimosaplein 2 in Eindhoven. We are a small-scale daycare facility with 50 childcare places where calm, rhythm and repetition are central. This daycare is a sole proprietorship that runs entirely on personal commitment and pedagogical care. Our approach is based on the anthroposophical view of child development. We see each child as a unique individual with their own talents and needs. Our pedagogical staff take the time to truly see who your child is and what they need. We understand your child's expressions, whether verbal or otherwise, and respond appropriately. In our vertical groups, we work with children from 0 to 4 years together. This setup allows young children to learn from older children, while older children learn to be caring and responsible. The days follow a fixed structure that provides safety and predictability, allowing children to grow in confidence - confidence in themselves and in others. We provide care for the youngest children, including bottle feeding and personal care. Our spaces are furnished with natural materials and provide a calm environment for play and development. We focus on artistic activities that match your child's age and development, and encourage language development through storytelling and singing songs. De Schatkamer is open for half and full days, allowing us to flexibly respond to your family's needs. We work from connection and involvement, and strive to ensure that every child feels seen and valued with us.
