De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, locatie OBS Over De Slinge Sommelsdijkstraat

We are De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, located on the playground of primary school Over De Slinge in Rotterdam-Charlois. Our mission is to give every toddler a flying start. We welcome children aged 2 to 4 in two morning or afternoon groups of up to 16 children each. Learning through play is our guiding principle: we sing, build, cycle, puzzle and play with peers from the neighbourhood. During these activities children develop language, motor and social skills. We use an early-years education programme that connects with toddlers’ everyday experiences. Our pedagogical staff follow each child’s individual pace and provide tailored developmental stimulation. Close cooperation with the primary school makes the transition to grade 1 smooth and familiar. Fruit and drinks are included; special dietary needs can be accommodated when required. Our spacious group room and secure courtyard offer plenty of opportunities to move and explore.
