De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, located at Zwartewaalstraat 38 in Rotterdam, is part of Stichting Peuter & Co. We provide a safe and familiar environment for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years, where they learn through play while being prepared for primary school. Our mission is to give every toddler an optimal start, regardless of background or beliefs. Our approach centers on "learning through play". During a day at our toddler school, your child talks, sings, builds, cycles, laughs, puzzles, runs and plays with peers from the neighborhood. Meanwhile, they learn new things like vocabulary or how to put on a jacket. Our pedagogical staff continuously create new activities tailored to your toddler's development. Every day we go outside where your toddler can run on the (nature) playground and enjoy playing and discovering together - perfect for learning cooperation, sharing and conflict resolution. We work with a VVE program (Pre- and Early School Education) covering themes that connect with toddlers' world of experience, such as "sneezing in autumn" or "Phew, it's hot" in summer. This stimulates speech and language development, social-emotional development, motor skills and sensory experiences. Through intensive collaboration with primary school OBS De Globe, your child becomes familiar with school in a playful way, ensuring a smooth transition to group 1. Our location offers 32 childcare places as an accredited daycare center (KDV). We provide flexible childcare options including half-days.
