Welcome to De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location kindcentrum de Vlinder at Albregt-Engelmanstraat 34 in Rotterdam. As part of Stichting Peuter & Co, we provide a safe and familiar environment where toddlers aged 2 to 4 are playfully prepared for primary school. We believe that play is the most powerful form of learning. During a day with us, your child will talk, sing, build, cycle, laugh, puzzle, run and play with peers from the neighborhood. Meanwhile, they learn new words, how to put on a jacket, cooperation and sharing. Our pedagogical staff design new activities every day that match your toddler's development. We work with a VVE program (Pre- and Early School Education) where we cover themes that connect to toddlers' world of experience. Think of "Oof, it's so hot" in summer or discovering autumn leaves. This way we stimulate speech and language development, social-emotional development, motor development and engage all senses. Every day we go outside where toddlers can run and discover on our safe outdoor area. We work intensively with the primary school we are located with, making the step to group 1 literally and figuratively smaller. Through this warm transfer, the primary school knows exactly what guidance your toddler needs. Our toddler groups are for children aged 2 to 4. You can choose between morning or afternoon groups, keeping you flexible in your childcare needs. We offer a nice place where your child can be themselves and where parents build a relationship of trust with us. At De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, we give every toddler an optimal start.
