De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, locatie KC Vreewijk

Peuterschool KC Vreewijk, part of De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, is a small-scale, safe learning and play environment for toddlers aged 2 to 4, located at Beukendaal 191 in the Feijenoord district of Rotterdam. We work closely with Vreewijkschool primary school, making the transition to group 1 as smooth as possible—both literally and figuratively. In two horizontal groups named ‘Eendjes’ (Ducks) and ‘Kikkers’ (Frogs), we welcome up to 16 children per day to explore, play, and grow. Our structured VVE (early childhood education) programme focuses on language, numeracy, and social skills through play-based activities. Themes such as animals, seasons, or traffic are explored through storytelling, singing, arts and crafts, and vocabulary games. Our qualified pedagogical staff closely monitor each child’s development and tailor activities to their individual needs. Parent involvement is highly valued. We keep parents informed through regular conversations and parent evenings, and we always welcome spontaneous visits or tours. Our door is open. The preschool is open on weekdays from 08:15 – 11:30 and 12:15 – 15:30. For families living in Feijenoord, Charlois, or IJsselmonde, attendance is often free of charge through the Rotterdam municipality.
