Peuterschool Isra, part of De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, is located at Wilgenlei 149 in Schiebroek, Rotterdam. We provide professional childcare for toddlers from 2 years old in a warm, safe and home-like environment. Our location has space for 16 children and works closely with primary school Isra, ensuring a smooth transition to formal education. We follow a play-based learning approach, using a structured VVE (Early Childhood Education) programme with themes that match the world of toddlers — such as seasons, emotions, animals and the body. Through play, children develop language, motor skills, social interaction and self-confidence. Daily activities include music, arts and crafts, reading aloud and outdoor play in our own garden. Our qualified staff are trained in early childhood development and support each child at their own pace, encouraging independence and social behaviour. We value strong communication with parents and keep them informed through regular updates and parent meetings. We offer morning and afternoon sessions of 3 hours each. A healthy snack and drinks are provided. Children with a target group indication may be eligible for additional free hours through the municipality of Rotterdam.
